Phú Thọ

Land of the Hùng Kings

9 историй·Лучшие месяцы: янв. · февр. · окт. · нояб.

The ancestral land of the Hùng Kings, now reaching into the stilt-house valleys of Mai Châu.

Phú Thọ: обзор

Phú Thọ is the ancestral land of the Hùng Kings — their temple complex climbs a sacred hill above the midland tea slopes. Since 2025 the province also reaches south to the Thái stilt-house valley of Mai Châu and the vast Hòa Bình reservoir, and east to the cool hill town of Tam Đảo.

The Hùng Kings' temple draws millions of visitors each spring festival; Mai Châu rewards slow travellers with stilt-house homestays, rice paddies and bicycle lanes between the villages. Tam Đảo is the quick escape from the heat — mist over old stone roads and pine forest.
