A limestone landscape of rivers, caves and forested karst towers in Ninh Bình, inscribed by UNESCO in 2014 as Vietnam's first mixed natural and cultural World Heritage site. Visits are made by rowing boat through a chain of flooded caves; the standard routes take two to three hours on the water.
