Đà Lạt Highlands
Coffee farms, pine lakes and waterfalls
3 daysSmall groupFrom ~$120
At 1,500 metres, Đà Lạt runs on a different thermostat to the rest of the country — pine forests, cool evenings, and the volcanic soil that grows Vietnam's best arabica. Three days of coffee farms, waterfalls and lake mornings, at highland pace.
Trip highlights
- Experience Đà Lạt's cool highland climate and pine forests.
- Taste Vietnam's best arabica coffee directly from the growers.
- Explore old town villas, flower gardens, and the lively night market.
- Enjoy serene mornings on Tuyền Lâm lake and forest waterfalls.
Why we chose this trip
The coffee day ends with the people who grew it pouring the tasting — a farm relationship, not a factory-outlet stop.
How we assess →Day by day
Day 1
The pine city on foot
Walk the old town's villas and flower gardens, loop the central lake as the afternoon cools, then dive into the night market — grilled rice paper, hot soy milk, and a city that comes out in sweaters.
Day 2
Coffee from tree to cup
A morning on an arabica farm in the hills — through the rows, into the processing shed, ending with a tasting poured by the people who grew it. The afternoon trades caffeine for waterfalls in the pine forest south of town.
Day 3
Lake morning, garden lunch
An early walk or paddle on Tuyền Lâm lake while the mist is still on the water, a flower-farm visit, and a long garden lunch before the trip home.

Good to know
Pack a real layer — evenings drop to sweater weather year round, which is exactly the appeal. November to April is the dry season. The mountain roads in are winding; if you're prone to motion sickness, sit front and come prepared.
